How Nerval Came to Be
Nerval was founded in April 2025 as a Delaware-registered technology company with an ambitious goal: to bring the AI revolution to those at risk of being left behind. Our company sprung to life when our two co-founders combined their distinct backgrounds — one shaped by computer science and software engineering, the other by decades in global development, finance, and social impact programming. Out of this fusion grew a shared conviction: artificial intelligence must serve everyone, not just the privileged few. Very quickly, this vision drew together a world-class team of AI researchers, data scientists, software engineers, social media specialists, and social impact professionals. This coalition combined technical brilliance with a mission-driven focus, creating the unique DNA that defines Nerval.

Our work advances along two frontiers: (1) giving digital voice and presence to languages historically excluded from technology, and (2) creating and bringing to market sovereign AI systems that empower small and medium-sized businesses to compete and thrive on their own terms.
Our Key Products
Our first flagship, Palefò, breaks new ground as a Kreyòl-language text-to-speech and speech-to-text (ASR) platform — the first of its kind at this scale. The dozens of algorithms, proprietary methods, and intellectual property developed through Palefò became the backbone of SpeakAI, Nerval’s global framework for bringing dozens of under-resourced languages into the AI era. In parallel, we are creating Anaïse, a sovereign AI platform for small businesses that we believe will be nothing short of revolutionary — reshaping how enterprises achieve productivity, autonomy, and growth in the age of artificial intelligence.
What Palefò Has Achieved
Palefò officially launched worldwide on July 16, 2025, with a bold campaign calling on Kreyòl speakers across the globe to lend their voices and texts. The response was overwhelming. In less than a month, we collected nearly 200,000 samples — an unprecedented achievement in language data collection. Palefò has also shifted global consciousness about language inclusion, landing on the front page of Haiti’s leading newspaper and sparking conversations across American and Caribbean media. Today, the project is just weeks away from releasing its beta text-to-speech engine, expected to exceed the performance of mainstream AI in both quality and authenticity.
